We woke up to a heartbreaking news of seven missing sailors from the USS Fitzgerald’s collision with a Japanese merchant vessel were found dead, but President Donald Trump didn’t care to acknowledge those fallen American heroes who died while serving for our country. He instead spent the morning tweeting about himself.

While it’s nothing new from Trump who normally embarks on a self-congratulatory rant, but to do so in the face of such a horrific national tragedy is not only improper but wholly un-American. It never goes unnoticed.

7 American Navy sailors have been determined dead, and our Commander in Chief is tweeting about….himself. Appalling.

While commander-in-chief was involved in a rant, commander of the U.S. 7th Fleet, Vice Admiral Joseph Aucoin, spoke about today’s misfortune, offering leadership since our President failed to do so.

“This loss is something we all feel. We have found a number of the remains … of our missing shipmates, and our deepest sympathies go out to the families of those shipmates.”

It’s shame that the President of the United States has no interest in “presidential work” but focuses more on lies to cover up his mess. Being the President, he is liable to acknowledge the American’s ultimate sacrifice to this country, but he seems to only compete with Obama in trivial things.
