Last night Bill Maher on his show Real Time With Bill Maher appeared esteemed counterterrorism expert and retired Navy Chief Petty Officer Malcolm Nance and Breitbart writer Alex Marlow along with other panelists. They talked about a report that was published by the fascist hate-rag which put Nance’s family in danger.
“I sort of have a bone to pick with you. You’re Breitbart right? You don’t do fake news, that’s what you’re asserting here? There was this article about a 35-year terrorism expert who claimed that they wanted Trump Tower attacked. I got 31 death threats about that.
You gonna apologize to me? I spent decades hunting terrorists and that’s fake as hell…Your followers threatened my family, my children, my wife,” said Malcolm Nance.

Marlow, on the other hand, didn’t have anything to justify the report wasn’t fake. He only stammered with indignation ahead of dolefully offering to review the piece and issue a retraction and an apology for it.
This is clear case of Far-right publications’ coverage. Today’s conservative media writes false or misleading stories while their followers then attack the subjects of the articles. It happens particularly if they are women or people of color – with death and rape threats.
